We are the holiday loving type. The type that try and make a memory out of every moment, set traditions and stay up way too late making a crafty mess of our dining room table. Anyone else?

Who wouldn’t want to wake up on a Wednesday to a decorated table set just for them?

Call us crazy, but we’re addicted. This week we surprised our little Valentines with a pancake party. Who wouldn’t want to wake up on a Wednesday to a decorated table set just for them? And what mom wouldn’t want to eat the leftovers after they’ve gone down for a nap?

Your typical Valentine’s Day party might include a menu packed full of lovely red dye. Not a menu we care to eat or feed our kids, so we threw together some of our favorite flavors and fruits to reflect the Valentine rainbow of colors. It’s hard to choose a favorite off the table so we’ll just start with this salad. We created this as a side dish at a recent brunch event and crowd we please. Even if your kids don’t love it…you will. As for the other foods you see photographed, stay tuned. We’ll be posting them throughout the week.
