It Doesn’t Get Much More Festively Gift-able Than This Chai-Spiced White Chocolate Fudge

This white chocolate fudge recipe is so perfect for the holiday season and it’s as easy as putting all of the ingredients in one pot, warming them up, and then pouring the chai-spiced fudge mixture into a pan to cool. The most difficult part of this recipe is the self-control you’ll have to muster to not eat the whole pan before you have a chance to give it away. You know what? Just do yourself a favor and make a double batch. ‘Tis the season of plenty, right? One for you, one for a friend. We’re big into edible, homemade gifts for the holidays—we’d honestly rather pick out our own scented candles and lotions and we bet you would, too—because they’re usually quite inexpensive and they are an expression of thought and care in a way that store-bought gifts simply can’t compete with. And with a recipe this easy, even the busiest elf has time to whip up homemade holiday gifts!

Everything You’ll Need to Make This Easy White Chocolate Fudge

We’ve taken an old-fashioned, right-off-the-can recipe for white fudge made with condensed milk and zoomed it forward in time by dressing it up with a warm, fragrant combination of black tea and spices inspired by masala chai! By the way, when you’re writing the labels for this chai fudge, don’t write “chai tea fudge” because the word “chai” means “tea” in Hindi. So, if you call it “chai tea” you’re saying “tea tea”. Now you know! So, here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this yummy chai fudge:

  • Sweetened condensed milk

  • Unsalted Butter

  • White chocolate chips

  • Vanilla extract

  • Chai spices: cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves

  • Black tea

How To Make This Easy White Chocolate Fudge with Chai Spices

It’s hard to believe how quick this chai-spiced fudge is, especially once you taste how delicious it is! You can make it to give as gifts, but it also makes a nice little bite to serve at the end of a meal in place of a heavier or larger dessert. Here’s how to make white chocolate fudge:

  1. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Warm the white chocolate chips, butter and condensed milk, stirring constantly until the white chocolate chips have melted and melded with the condensed milk.

  3. Add the tea and spices. Stir!

  4. Pour the white chocolate fudge into the baking pan.

  5. Refrigerate until set! This only takes about an hour.

  6. White chocolate fudge is good for about a week, so if you’re giving it as a gift, try to not make it too far ahead of time.

Tips For Giving DIY Holiday Food Gifts (Like This Delicious Fudge!)

  • Always include ingredient tags! This is just a really thoughtful thing to do. Whether you download and print some gift label tags online or just do it all by hand, it’s nice to let people know exactly what’s in the edible gift they’re about to dig into.

  • Use plain boxes dressed up with ribbon. You don’t need to buy fancy Christmas tins or anything. Just a simple white box will work!

  • Order ribbon in bulk! This is one of our favorite tricks for both DIY homemade gifts like this white chocolate fudge, or for store-bought gifts, too. You can buy ribbon from wholesalers online and get it for a much, much better price than the by-the-yard stuff, and it makes even the most simple, butcher-paper wrapping job look so cheery and festive! Double-sided satin, please!
