Whatever kind of hungry crew you’ve got, this pepperoni pizza sliders recipe more than satisfies! This is one of those genius recipes that we know we’ll be making (and be asked to make!) for years to come. Two kinds of cheese, all melty and gooey, sandwiched inside of soft King’s Hawaiian rolls, with dots of spicy pepperoni and savory pizza sauce — put out a platter of pizza sliders and they’ll disappear before you can say “who wants pizza sliders?” When life is busy, folks are hungry, and you need an easy win, it’s time to make pizza sliders. For even more easy, bready goodness, try our French Bread Pizza or our dead-easy Herby Rhodes Rolls.

Ultra Easy Pizza Slider Ingredients

  • King's Hawaiian rolls: Hawaiian roll pizza sliders — is your mind blown?? They’re just so so simple, and so so so good. It’s not cheating when food is this easy — it’s BRILLIANT.

  • Cheese: Shredded mozzarella for melty, classic pizza perfection and Parmesan cheese for a little extra flavor.

  • Pizza sauce: Jarred pizza sauce is ideal here — pizza sliders are all about quick and easy.

  • Pepperoni: You could also play around with using other classic pizza toppings — like olives or mushrooms — depending on what your family’s favorites are. Pepperoni pizza is THE king of pizza toppings in our homes, so pepperoni it is.

  • Dried herbs & seasonings: dried oregano, basil, garlic

  • Butter: you’ll melt this with the herbs and seasonings to make a delicious buttery topping for the pizza-stuffed rolls. YUM.

How To Make Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders

  1. Hawaiian rolls come in a slab (that’s the technical term right? A slab-o-rolls?). As you work maintain the slab — you’re basically going to slice them in half horizontally and use the bottom of the slab-of-rolls like a pizza crust.

  2. Spread pizza sauce all over the bottom layer of Hawaiian rolls.

  3. Next comes a layer of the cheeses and herbs!

  4. Now the pizza toppings! Pepperoni (or whatever toppings you choose).

  5. Then a little more cheese! These are easy cheesy pizza sliders, after all.

  6. Cover with foil; this helps the cheese get really melty and the makes the Hawaiian rolls even squishier and delicious. Trust the magic!

  7. Bake for 15 minutes!

  8. Mix up a little butter, garlic, basil and oregano, and brush it all over the top of the rolls. Next. LEVEL.

  9. Bake (uncovered this time) for 10 more minutes.

  10. Dig in!

What To Serve With Pizza Sliders

  • A must: Serve pizza sliders with more warmed pizza sauce on the side, for dipping and dredging.

  • Braised Tomatoes with Burrata: is it because they’re in the same color family as these easy pizza sliders? Maybe. Anyway, we love to serve this as a lower-carb option instead of or even alongside pizza sliders. We love a theme!

  • Caesar Salad: A big Caesar salad can actually be a great party food — everyone loves a Caesar salad, and you can even get crazy and serve the romaine whole and let people eat it up as a finger food. Or, if you don’t fear dishes, offer little plates and forks and voila — dinner is pizza sliders and salad.
