Turkey Burgers

Homemade turkey burger on a toasted bun with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, red onion, and dill pickles for an easy family dinner.

Ingredients

Turkey Patties

  • 2 pounds 93% lean ground turkey
  • ½ small yellow onion, grated
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, (some people also do mayo)

For Serving

  • 6 hamburger buns, toasted
  • ½ cup good quality mayonnaise, (we like Duke’s or Helman’s)
  • ¼ cup ketchup, (optional)
  • 6 romaine lettuce leaves
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup dill pickles, sliced (optional)
