Spinach Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 15 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained, and squeezed out (see Note)
  • ¼ cup minced chives, plus more for garnish
  • Carrot and celery sticks, for serving
  • Blue corn tortilla chips or crackers, for serving

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cayenne, mustard, worcestershire, spinach, and chives.

  2. Sprinkle with chives.

  3. Serve with carrot and celery sticks and tortilla chips or crackers.


Note: It’s important to remove as much liquid from the thawed spinach as possible! Place it on a clean kitchen towel and wring out as much as you can over the sink.
