Salty Dark and Milk Chocolate Skillet Cookie

Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 2 ounces milk chocolate, finely chopped, plus more for serving
- ½ cup dark chocolate, chunks
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
- Maldon salt, for serving
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F, with a rack in the center position. 
- In a large bowl combine the melted butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, until fully combined. 
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Stir until a dough forms and no dry bits remain. Stir in both the milk chocolate and the dark chocolate chunks. 
- Press the dough into a lightly greased 10-inch cast iron skillet. 
- Bake until the center is set, but still a bit gooey, about 18-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool slightly. 
- Top with ice cream, flakey salt, and finely chopped chocolate.
