- Serves: 4
- Prep Time: 20 min
- Cook Time: 15 min
Ingredients
Pizza
- ¾ pound store-bought or homemade pizza dough, room temperature
- all-purpose flour (for rolling)
- ¼ cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded low moisture mozzarella cheese
- 10 salami slices
- ¼ medium red onion, sliced very thin
- ½ jalapeño, seeded and thinly sliced
- ½ cup Castelvetrano olives, pitted and halved
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cup honey
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Everything Bagel Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
- 2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds (black, white or combination)
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
Method
Preheat the oven to 450°F, with a rack in the center position.
Make the everything bagel seasoning. In a small bowl, stir together the poppy seeds, minced onion, minced garlic, sesame seeds, and salt.
Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or prepare a pizza stone by placing it in the oven. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the dough into a circle about 12-inch in diameter, roughly ½-inch thick. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet or preheated pizza stone.
Spoon the pizza sauce onto dough and spread into an even layer, leaving 1-inch of crust exposed around the edges. Cover the sauce with ¾ of the mozzarella cheese. Top evenly with salami, onions, jalapeños, and olives. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Brush the edges of the pizza with olive oil and sprinkle with the everything bagel seasoning.
Place the pizza in the oven until the edges are golden brown and the center of the crust is cooked through, about 12-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if using. Cut into 8 pieces, serve warm.
