Pull Apart Cheese Bread
- Serves: 10
- Prep Time: 20 min
- Cook Time: 45 min
Ingredients
- 1 loaf crusty rustic bread
- ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, (we like Tillamook Salted Butter)
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 3 green onions, white and green parts, chopped
- 2 cups Tillamook Farmstyle Thick Cut Triple Cheddar Shredded Cheese
- 1 cup Tillamook Farmstyle Thick Cut Mozzarella Shredded Cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh, flat-leaf parsley
Method
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly oil a sheet pan.
Without slicing all the way through, cut the bread on a diagonal into 1-inch-thick slices, then cut again on the opposite diagonal to create 1-inch cubes. Place on the prepared sheet pan.
In a small sauce pan, heat the butter, onion powder and garlic powder over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, until melted, about 3 minutes. Using a pastry brush, brush the bread with the butter mixture, making sure to get between the slices. Sprinkle the green onion and cheese into all the cracks.
Cover the loaf with foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Remove the sheet pan from the oven and discard the foil. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for about 15 minutes more, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve topped with the parsley.
