Perfect Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F with a rack in the center position.
  2. On a rimmed sheet pan, toss the broccoli with the olive oil and salt, making sure the florets are in a single layer and not overcrowded.  
  3. Roast until the broccoli is tender and the edges are golden brown and crispy, about 30 minutes. 
  4. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Serve warm. 

Notes

To reheat it, simply add it to a dry skillet and cook over medium heat until warmed and the edges are crispy!
