Pear and Burrata Crostini

Pear and Burrata Crostini drizzled with sherry vinegar and honey and sprinkled with thyme, salt and pepper
  • Serves:  10
  • Prep Time:  15 min
  • Cook Time:  12 min

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced diagonally into ½-inch-thick slices
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 large pear, cored and thinly sliced (we like bosc and bartlett)
  • 8 ounces burrata, drained, torn into even pieces
  • 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • Flaky salt, for serving
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, for serving

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F with a rack in the center position.

  2. Lightly brush both sides of the bread slices with the olive oil. Arrange on a sheet pan in a single layer. Bake, flipping halfway through, until lightly browned on both sides, 10-12 minutes. Store at room temperature in an airtight container or zip-top bag for up to two days.

  3. To assemble, transfer the crostini to a serving platter and arrange in a single layer. Top each crostini with a pear slice, a piece of burrata, and a drizzle of the vinegar and honey. Sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper. Serve.
