White Pizza Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, plus more for pizza dough
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving

Pizza

  • ¾ pound store-bought or homemade pizza dough, room temperature
  • ¼ cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 3 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced, torn into pieces
  • 2 ounces goat cheese, crumbled (about ½ cup)
  • 1 handful pea shoots or arugula (optional)
