Oven Baked Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on, fat trimmed
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Method
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a rimmed sheet pan with foil and set a cooling rack inside.
Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel and drizzle with the olive oil.
In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper. Rub the chicken all over with the spice mixture, completely coating the skin.
Reduce the oven temperature to 425°F. Place the chicken on the prepared rack and bake until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy and the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F on an instant-read thermometer, about 30 minutes.
Arrange chicken thighs on a platter and serve alongside your favorite sides.
