Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sugar or maple syrup
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 .75 ounces whisky, (we like 100 proof bourbon, or rye)
  • Orange twist, for garnish
  • 1 maraschino cherry, for garnish

Method

  1. Add the sugar, 1 tablespoon water, and bitters to a whisky glass and stir to combine. Add a large ice cube and pour whiskey over the ice. Garnish with the orange zest and cherry.
