Moscow Mule

Ingredients

  • ½-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • ½ ounce fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 6 ounces ginger beer
  • Fresh mint, for serving (optional)
  • Candied ginger, for serving (optional)

Method

  1. In a copper mug or glass, muddle the ginger with the lime juice until crushed and fragrant. Add the vodka and stir to combine.
  2. Fill the mug with crushed ice, then top with the ginger beer. Garnish with fresh mint or candied ginger if using.
