Mint Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1½ tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons dark brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Method

  1. In a small saucepan over high heat, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add mint leaves, then turn off heat. Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Finely chop leaves.

  2. In a small bowl, combine mint, vinegar, brown sugar, and salt. Let sit for 30 minutes before serving. Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
