Mango Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 large mangos, peeled, pitted and diced (about 2 cups)
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño, halved, seeded, and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, (from 1 lime), plus more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder or hot sauce, plus more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar, plus more to taste

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mango, onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, chili powder, sea salt, and sugar. Toss until evenly distributed.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. 

Notes

Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to one week.
