Mango Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 large mangos, peeled, pitted and diced (about 2 cups)
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño, halved, seeded, and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, (from 1 lime), plus more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder or hot sauce, plus more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar, plus more to taste

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mango, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, chili powder, sea salt, and sugar. Toss until evenly distributed.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. 

Note: Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to one week.
