Macaroni Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pound elbow pasta
- 1¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1½ cups finely chopped celery
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
Method
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat and salt it. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, according to the package directions, about 9-11 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, honey, onion powder, pepper, and salt. Add the pasta, carrots, relish, celery and green onions. Toss to combine.
Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
