How to Cook Bacon in the Oven

Oven-baked bacon on a parchment lined baking sheet, fresh from the oven and perfectly crispy.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces thick cut bacon

Method

  1. Arrange the bacon on a large, parchment (or foil) lined, rimmed sheet pan close together, but not touching.
  2. Place the sheet pan in the oven on the center rack and turn the oven to 400°F.
  3. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until it's reached your desired level of crispiness. 
  4. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel lined plate.

Notes

Ovens and bacon thickness vary. Check on the bacon often while it is baking.
