  • 3/4 cup flat leaf parsley leaves, minced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh mint leaves, minced
  • 4 medium garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, from 1-2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper


  1. In a small bowl combine all ingredients for gremolata. Gremolata is best enjoyed fresh, but can be made up to a day ahead and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before serving.
