stone ground polenta or yellow cornmeal

chicken or vegetable stock

whole milk

butter (1 stick)

grated Parmesan cheese, about 2 oz

sea salt

freshly cracked black pepper
Method
- In a medium-sized post (at least 3 quarts) bring chicken stock and milk to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the polenta and simmer until tender and creamy about 30-40 minutes.
- Add the butter and parmesan cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
