Crab Dip

Hot crab dip with old bay seasoning served with crackers and raw vegetables. A great party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, plus more for garnish
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, (from 1 lemon)
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce, (see Note)
  • ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pound fresh lump crab meat, picked over for shells

For serving (optional)

  • Crackers
  • Tortilla chips
  • Vegetables, such as carrot sticks, celery, cucumber slices, or bell pepper strips
