Cosmopolitan

A homemade Cosmopolitan cocktail with a twist of lemon, served in a classic martini glass.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • ¾ ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce cranberry juice
  • 1 ¼ ounces fresh lime juice, (from 1 lime)
  • Orange, lemon, or lime twist, for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously for about 45 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. 
  2. Garnish with a twist, if desired.
