carne asada

1½ cups
guacamole, homemade or store-bought

½ cup
chopped white onion

⅓ cup
roughly chopped fresh cilantro

(6-inch) corn tortillas, warmed
Method

Make the carne asada. Let it rest before cutting it (against the grain) into bite-size pieces.

Prepare the toppings. While the steak is cooking, chop the onions, roughly chop the cilantro, prepare the guacamole and warm or toast the tortillas.

Assemble the tacos. Fill the warm tortillas with chopped steak, raw onion, cilantro and guacamole.
