Bisquick Sausage Balls

Golden, tender and cheesy Bisquick sausage balls piled on a serving plate. A perfect appetizer for game day and parties
  • Serves:  12
  • Prep Time:  15 min
  • Cook Time:  25 min

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork sausage, at room temperature
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cups whole milk

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F with a rack in the center of the oven. Line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sausage, Bisquick, cheddar, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and milk. Mix well. If the mixture seems dry, keep mixing until it comes together.
  3. With wet hands, form 35 balls, about 1½ tablespoons each, and place on the prepared sheet pan. Bake until golden brown and cooked through, about 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm.

Notes

If using gluten-free Bisquick, the mixture will be less sticky.
