Asian Chopped Salad with Hoisin Marinated Pork Kabab
- Serves: 4
- Prep Time: 30 min
- Cook Time: 15 min
Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 cup hoisin sauce, plus more for serving
- 1 bag Taylor farms Asian chopped salad kit
- 2 red or green bell peppers, julienned (optional)
- 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds (optional)
Method
Add the pork and ¾ cup hoisin sauce to a medium bowl, toss until the pork is coated. Cook right away, or cover and place in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours.
Heat a grill on high. Thread 4 pieces of pork onto double skewers, so that the pork lays flat.
Grill the pork until the internal temperature reaches 145°F on an instant read thermometer and is slightly charred, about 4 minutes on each side. Brush the pork with the remaining ¼ cup of hoisin sauce.
Meanwhile, prepare the salad. In a large bowl, toss the cabbage with ⅔ of the dressing packet. Divide the salad onto 4 plates. Top with bell peppers (if using) and 1 pork skewer each.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using) and drizzle the pork with the remaining ⅓ packet of dressing and additional hoisin sauce if desired.
